More Spain

Situated in the far north of Spain on its Atlantic coast is the city of Santander, capital of the Cantabria region, renowned since Roman times for its excellent harbour facing out to the Bay of Biscay.

In the very heart of Spain is the province and city of Toledo, indeed at various times it has been used as the capital by the Romans and the Visigoths in historic times, and now attracts visitors to view the many ancient monuments.

In north eastern Spain Zaragoza is a province (population one million) with a city of the identical name located in Aragon, it has plenty of sightseeing opportunities in both natural and historic sites.
