This region, the Community and province of Madrid is located right in the heart of Spain with the capital of the same name in the centre. The area has a diverse industrial basis, with tourism centred on the city of Madrid. Flights to Barajas International airport (MAD) of numerous from just about every other country and is utilised by all the major players in the airline industry as a hub for the rest of the country.

As stated previously Madrid City attracts many visitors from across the world for weekend breaks or longer stays to view all the attractions this historic destination has to offer, consequently there are just under one thousand hotels available, so the choice of accommodation is extensive, from fine business suites to budget backpacker 2 star establishments.

Getting around the city is relatively simple with plenty of taxis and buses, but to tour the province a vehicle may be necessary, so Madrid car hire can be arranged and collected at various down town locations at you convenience. The city attractions are numerous from the many famous monuments and myriad museums through to bullfighting and of course you cannot speak of Madrid without mentioning the famous football club, so go ahead and enjoy your sightseeing.
